Yearning for Yarnover

Yarnover, the annual knitting and fiber fest put on by the Minnesota Knitter’s Guild is upon  us.

I’ll be showing a few new products this year: Silk Hankies, Bleached Tussah Silk Roving and Project Bags. I think of Yarnover as the Shepherd’s Harvest test run. It’s one day.  It’s smaller and I can experiment a bit with new stuff. If you come to Yarnover you will get to see the newest items before they “go public.”  There will be other surprises as well.  In addition to my unique handspun yarns, standard dyeing of medium wools, Bluefaced Leicester/silk, alpaca/silk, merino/silk, merino/camel/silk,  masham (new this year)….I have picked up a new account:  Frabjous Fibers.  I will have their pulled silk, which is really fun to spin or add to your wet felting.  I also decided to carry a few of their felted products.
